  • Black Boar Custom Six Point

    Sale Pending

Here we have a rare offering. Tony used three logos from his first cues to present day. The CustomBB logo was used to introduce his six point cues. Players and collectors feel that these are his best playing cues. Unfortunately this particular logo took much time and extreme care to engrave. To the point that Tony only did this logo on a handful of cues. He then switched to the more simplified BB. Making the CustomBB logo very very rare.

This cue also features another rare aspect seeing that it is built with L-Channel points. There are 18 distinct points in the forearm. Tony never uses veneers. This method is very time consuming to do. To the extent that Tony has not duplicated them again since the mid 90’s. It is estimated he built 15-20 total cues with the L-Channel points and out of those only a very few with the Custom logo. Seeing that this cue has both, makes it a real find for a collector. The return points of Tulip, just above the wrap, are razor sharp and add a stunning look that can’t be achieved with any amount of inlays.

This was a one owner cue when we acquired it. The owner stated to us that they never had any work done on this cue by any one. Including Tony. This cue is all original. There is one small pock mark on the natural ferrule. The mark has no effect on the cues playability. We feel it is best to leave it and keep the cue in its original form.

A very fine example of a merry widow cue. Simple classic. The finish and wrap are original. When it was made it was a one shaft cue. Notice the thicker ring in the original shaft. The single owner of this cue had the second shaft made by Richard some 10 years ago. Both shafts have new Kamikaze brown medium tips. What this cue lacks in bling, it more than makes up for it hit. A Richard Black steel joint hit. Whether it’s a plainer cue such as this, or a loaded monster, Richard’s cues always have that amazing hit. If your a merry widow collector, don’t let this one pass you by.

  • Tim Scruggs Sneaky Pete

    Sold

By far one of the coolest Scruggs Sneaky Pete’s we have ever seen. This cue is not for the faint of heart. It does show signs of wear with some bumps and bruises in the finish. But with this cue they honestly add to it’s appeal. See close up pictures. The patina on this cue is very rich and dark. We had this cue tested on a lathe and the butt spins dead true. The shaft is very straight. It has less than half a credit card of taper. The over all beauty of this cue is the fact that it is straight and all original. Right down to the bumper. Pair this up with a newer low deflection shaft, and you will have a classic beauty with a modern hit. We have passed on a lot of Scruggs sneaky Pete’s over the years, but when this cue came to us, it was an easy choice. True cue collectors will have a great appreciation for this cue. The ferrule is LBM making this cue a good international traveler.

“I received my cue and case today. I just want to say that both the cue and the case are even better than the pictures. The cue is awesome, I couldn’t be any happier. And the shipping was amazing. I ordered the case on Friday, it was shipped on Saturday and I received on Monday. All I can say is WOW, Thank You. I hope to do business with you again.”  Andy / Virginia
